What we offer
A calm, structured option for children who find groups impossible
Stable Ground provides one-to-one, sensory-aware animal-assisted activities and therapeutic riding for children with autism and additional support needs. Our model is deliberately solo and low-stimulation — designed for children for whom mainstream clubs, sports and group programmes are inaccessible.
- Personalised 4–6 month programmes with goals agreed with families.
- A ladder of engagement from small-animal contact to groundwork and, where appropriate, riding.
- Outcomes measured with simple before/after parent and teacher ratings.
- Sibling and carer inclusion built in.

Safeguarding
A child protection policy, named safeguarding lead, safer-recruitment procedure and PVG scheme membership for everyone in a regulated role.
Health & safety
Written risk assessments for every activity, site and animal; first aid on site; and appropriate insurance in place before we open.
Animal welfare
A written animal welfare policy, veterinary oversight, and workload limits — welfare of the animals is never compromised.
